Vauban 21 have announced they wish to ‘send a strong message of change to the industry’ that Antibes is a premier lifestyle destination with high levels of customer service and exclusive entertainment.
Between 15th May and 25th May, during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, the port will offer a Berth Package for yachts between 40m and 160m LOA.
The package includes transfers via helicopter, and the use of Wajer 38’ tenders and Maserati Levante cars, along with entrance to exclusive daily events hosted at Port Vauban from 12am to 6pm.
Vauban 21 announced that they will host movie presentations, VIP parties, supercar presentations, fast driving simulators, fashion shows, art shows in Les Terrasses du Bastion St Jaume, on board rare tea and wine tasting, and a golf driving range escapade to the Domaine of Barbossi alongside Cannes Film Festival.
At the close of each day, the Bastion St Jaime shall be transformed into an outdoor cinema, where guests can watch classic films while seated in collector vintage cars.
Private operators Vauban 21 have taken over management of Port Vauban after being awarded a 25-year contract last month. They have announced that, over the next 15 years, multiple renovation projects will be undertaken on the facilities. A new restaurant with rooftop terrace and panoramic views are planned for the captainerie, while the IYCA captainerie is set to be given a large helipad and crew leisure centre, featuring a gym and library. Plans have also been announced for and underground parking lot with 600 spaces, as well as a new walkway around the marina.
