Porto Lotti celebrates 20th anniversary with new superyacht berths

Celebrating its 20^th anniversary this year, Porto Lotti has announced new superyacht berths and infrastructure at its marina facility in La Spezia, Italy. 

The UNESCO heritage site is a favourite destination for superyachts cruising the Mediterranean, offering first-class marine services and amenities to visiting yachts up to 60m LOA, since it’s opening in 1996.

To celebrate its landmark anniversary, Porto Lotti has announced the addition of 14 superyacht berths for vessels up to 80m LOA, as well as a transit dock for yachts up to 180m – one of very few in the region.

According to Porto Lotti, the new developments have been seamlessly integrated into a modern, functional infrastructure under the efficient management of Lotti SpA, with the port entirely financed by private investors.

Further developments include the expansion of larger or over-sized facilities to ensure complete safety whether maneuvering or moored, and an area reserved for yacht tenders to be brought ashore for maintenance work, or serviced in the water. The new infrastructure will be fully operational in 2016. 

The 14 new superyacht berths will be available on a short, medium or long-term rental basis, and include a sophisticated package of services designed to satisfy every need or request of visiting yachts and their guests. Captains and crew will also continue to receive special attention and privileges at the facility.

Representatives at the marina said, “Testimony to the excellent quality of service and eco-sustainability, whether on the water or land, is the fact that Porto Lotti retains its five-star notation, the maximum points under the ‘MaRina Excellence’ classification, awarded by RINA in 2013. 

“And last but not least, the centre of La Spezia, which offers all the amenities of a seaside city with 120,000 inhabitants, is just minutes away from Porto Lotti by land or sea.”
