Porto Montenegro issues update on international yacht arrivals

Superyacht marina Porto Montenegro has revealed that, in line with recent government directive, the official quarantine period for arriving yachts is now as per the EU standard of 14 days.

It noted that time spent at sea between the last port of departure and Montenegro will be taken into consideration and subtracted from the 14-day period.

Boasting state-of-the-art facilities, Porto Montenegro has designated an official quarantine area within the marina. This allows it to provide a continuous and uninterrupted flow of required services to quarantining yachts in a safe and secure location.

Crew changes are also possible in Montenegro. Arriving crew can join the yacht immediately on arrival, but the yacht and all existing crew will then be required to enter into a 14-day quarantine period.

New measures will soon be adopted that will allow crew to obtain permission to undertake the required 14-day quarantine period ashore in Porto Montenegro’s Regent hotel, prior to joining the yacht. Located on the waterfront in the heart of the village, this option could represent an attractive package for crew.
