Ferretti Group Raises the Bar

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show marks another important milestone for the Ferretti Group, a world leader in the design, construction and sale of motor-yachts, comprising a unique portfolio of some of the most exclusive and prestigious brands in the nautical world. Over the last twelve months the group has significantly reinforced the strategic importance of its North American organisation by re-branding its sale network, expanding its distribution footprint and achieving an unprecedented sales and order book schedule for the American markets in the 2010-2011 Nautical Year.

Ferretti Group's American operations are based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at the company's flagship showroom that spans nearly 10,000 square feet. This is supported by several Ferretti Group Sales Centers such as Miami, Naples, Stuart and new facilities in Newport RI, Sag Harbour NY and representation in Greenwich CT as well as dealer affiliates in the Great Lakes. As part of the North American strategy, the company will continue expansion into other key markets across the US by broadening the distribution footprint into California, Michigan and Maryland.

The Fort Lauderdale flagship facility primarily compromising a wide range of Ferretti, Pershing, Riva and Bertram models and the continuous introduction of cutting edge new models being introduced, demonstrating the Ferretti Group's commitment and drive to consolidate its position as an industry leader in the American markets.

Bertram Yachts will be sold and distributed throughout North America through Sales Centers, which will be comprised of both the Ferretti Group sales and distribution infrastructure and a series of outside Bertram dealer affiliates. Drawing on 65 years of heritage the Allied Marine brand will continue to operate under the Ferretti Group umbrella as a leader in the yacht brokerage sector, directing its efforts on the sale and marketing of pre-owned luxury vessels in the 50-150ft sector.

The Latin American markets continue to be a strong growth region for the Ferretti Group. In April 2010, the Group signed an agreement with its historic dealer and centre for production, sales and after-sale service of all the yacht brands of the Group for the Brazilian market, Ferrettigroup Brasil. The new plant is producing a range of yachts from 50 to 83 feet and reaching the capacity of over 100 boats a year.

The Ferretti Group is also focused on expanding the distribution infrastructure and developing new clients in key Latin America markets including Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic, while also fostering new interest for luxury yachts in Peru, Columbia, Panama and Uruguay.

The Ferretti Group has made a significant commitment to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with one of the largest in-water displays, showcasing an impressive line up of 15 models, four of which are exclusive debuts for the Americas and the Ferretti Custom Line 100, which will be making its world boat show debut in Ft. Lauderdale. The highly anticipated Ferretti Custom Line 100', Pershing 92', Riva 86' Domino, Ferretti 720 and Bertram 64' will be located on the Ferretti Group new yacht display on Dock E-500 at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center.
