CCN takes order for 31m Fuoriserie yacht

Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN) has announced that it has taken an order for a 31-metre (102-foot) custom motor yacht that is scheduled to hit the water in 2019.

Signed at the end of 2017 by a European client, the all-aluminium project will form part of the Italian yard’s Fuoriserie collection, which already includes the 27m (89ft) custom yacht Freedom.

The new project features interior and exterior styling by Guido De Groot Design, while Ginton Naval Architects is in charge of developing the displacement hull. CCN says her classic exterior lines belie the level of technological sophistication on board, with a particular focus on sustainability and efficiency.

The propulsion system combines both diesel engines and electric motors to offer speeds of up to 12.5 knots and comfortable cruising at eight knots. The stabilisation system is just as sophisticated, with both gyroscopes and fin stabilisers working in tandem to ensure a smooth cruising experience.

Accommodation is situated below decks with room for six guests across a master suite and two further cabins. The layout of the main deck will comprise an L-shaped lounge, dining area and an open-plan galley behind the superyacht wheelhouse.

Relaxation space comes primarily on the upper deck, equipped with sun loungers, a bar and a dining area, while the aft swimming platform allows a 5.5m (18ft) tender to be carried.
