In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Rondal B.V., one of the leading suppliers of custom superyacht solutions in the Netherlands, has announced the new Rondal carbon fibre hatch, MKII. Rondal stated that the objectives of the project were to maintain a high level of standard, while driving down costs through smart engineering and a more streamlined production process, and to further enhance styling and durability.
The flush hatches are produced in a single mould using pre-impregnated material of full carbon, carbon/glass or full glass laminate and will be available in all size ranges, with deck camber and tops that can be covered with teak, glass or acrylic.
Bas Peute, sales manager at Rondal B.V. commented, "I am convinced that these product innovations will make Rondal increasingly competitive in the composite hatch market. I can even foresee that, given the modest premium and all the benefits of no corrosion, lower maintenance, lighter weight and enhanced durability, Rondal composite hatches will become strong competition for aluminium hatches and maybe a substitute in the future.”
Already, the MKII has generated important orders from Rondal's major customers, Baltic Yachts in Finland, for the 175' project and for project 397, currently under construction at Royal Huisman.
