In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Dutch yard Royal Huisman has announced a new 59.7-metre (196-foot) sailing yacht known as Project 404.
Few details have been divulged at this stage – only a basic sketch of the high-performance sloop released so far – but it is known that Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design will implement naval architecture and exterior design, while the vessel’s interiors will be developed by Liaigre.
The project has already been sold, with Gregory Monks representing the owner.
Project 404 will be built from an Alustar aluminium hull and low-profile carbon composite superstructure, with an integrated rig package from Southern Spars to be complemented by Rondal captive winches.
Utilising modern technologies, Royal Huisman has promised that Project 404 will be “a sleek and powerful sailing yacht of iconic, imaginative design which will marry unprecedented performance with luxurious and innovative amenities.”
Due to be delivered in 2022, accommodation will be for up to 12 guests and 10 crew members.
Other projects currently in development at the yard include its 81-metre (266-foot) flagship Project RH400 and the 55-metre (180-foot) motor yacht Project Phi.
