Sanlorenzo’s 47.2-metre (154-foot) Ocean Dreamwalker III, the firm’s first superyacht fitted with a helipad, has successfully undergone air testing.
A helicopter recently landed on the helipad while Ocean Dreamwalker III was at sea, meeting the demands set by the owner who wanted a vessel that can cruise the Pacific Ocean and offer air transport options.
The 500 EXP superyacht, launched in May, is the natural successor to the well-received 460 EXP vessel. Sanlorenzo customised the existing platform by extending the aft deck by five metres while retaining the stylish overall look of the vessel.
Sanlorenzo has also revealed that another four units of this flagship explorer yacht are under construction, including a special Ice Class version which is being built for a Dutch client.
The Ocean Dreamwalker III will be on display at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show in September.
