Leading yacht charter specialist, Flying Charter has announced a successful 2015 season for the 26m motor sailor, Santa Lucia, which achieved more than 14 weeks of Mediterranean charter bookings this year under their management.
Covering more than 1,905 miles throughout the Mediterranean season, sailing from Sardinia to Sicily, Santa Lucia ended the season in Turkey before travelling back to Rome, Italy.
Carlo Pettorosso, founder of Flying Charter said, “Santa Lucia is truly amazing. With her stylish hulls and interiors, entirely built in premium mahogany wood, and her state-of-the-art technologic equipment, she offers the perfect combination of elegance and functionality.
“She has four en-suite cabins, a bright and polished salon and ample deck space, which are all tastefully designed to provide the perfect frame for an unforgettable elite holiday.
“Beyond her aesthetic qualities, Santa Lucia also has a professional crew of three, earning her a spotless reputation and a huge amount of feedback, which is a warranty for all the guests aboard: They never forget to mention the incredible cooking skills of captain Felice, and the welcoming and warm atmosphere that he and his staff are able to create on board.”
According to Flying Charter, Santa Lucia is the first choice for those charter guests passionate about sailing due to her incredible displays on the water, reflected in her recent performance in the last Bodrum Cup, in which she placed second.
After her busy season, she underwent a refit which saw her fitted with new performing sails, winches and upholstered custom seating ready for her next season.
