SeaSatCom introduces new VSAT and TV solutions

Thrane & Thrane is launching its revolutionary new in-house VSAT solution. SAILOR 900 VSAT is an advanced maritime stabilized Ku-band antenna built with the same high quality and performance that has made SAILOR the leading name in maritime communication.

Costs are reduced as the antenna is supplied fully balanced and does not need to be adjusted prior to installation. Installation time is significantly reduced and only a single cable is required to provide DC power, data and control information.

SAILOR 900 VSAT is a triple-axis stabilized VSAT antenna with integrated GPS and the highest RF performance in the 1m antenna class.

Combined with the brand new iDirect modem, the Evolution X5, you have the maximum quality and bandwidth available in today’s market.

SeaSatCom’s expertise also includes the new range of Sailor satellite TV solutions designed to provide high quality and reliability:
• SAILOR 60 TV
• SAILOR 90 TV

SAILOR TV is purpose-built for crew and guests at sea. They can watch sports, keep up with news or just relax watching the latest entertainment.

Both antennas are very easy to install and operate. They offer outstanding tracking capability and are backed by a global service network with the universal LNB compatible for both Mediterranean and Caribbean coverage.

A user-friendly control unit with intuitive interface makes it easy to operate. It has horizon satellite memory banks with automatic scanning and storage. This means that if you come to a new location where there are no existing satellites in your library, you can use SAILOR software installed on a laptop to ask the antenna to scan the horizon for a satellite. When it finds one, it adds the new satellite to your library, no matter where you are.
