Semco two part teak cleaner reviewed by industry expert

Semco, a specialist company providing teak cleaning products, recently had two of its products reviewed by industry expert, Dick Phillips.

Dick, the owner of Willow Bay Boats, a company which builds recreational day boats, recently used the two-part cleaner, which includes the Semco teak cleaner and the Semco teak sealer.

In his review of the Semco teak cleaner, he suggested that it is advisable to use one company for all teak cleaning needs, as mixing and matching products can be both ineffective and lead to different results.

Dick commented, “When a refinishing job turned up, I had no hesitation in using their two-part cleaner prior to applying the teak sealer.” After the treatment was finished he went on to say, “We found it to be an extremely successful treatment. The capping rail we treated, which had been exposed to the elements for at least seven years with a smattering of varnish still clinging to the surface, cleaned up perfectly.”

In his second review, this time of the Semco teak sealer, Dick explained how Semco offers the unique chance for the teak to be left in its natural bare wood appearance, without using a varnish or polish which will deepen the colour.

Dick then went on to comment “I will definitely use it again”.

The Semco product deep cleans teak without harsh scrubbing to remove greying, food stains, fish blood, fuel stains and teak oils.
