SFG Yacht Design shares D67 concept

US yard SFG Yacht Design has revealed a new 67-metre (220-foot) superyacht concept named D67.

The concept consists of a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and is designed for those “who love cruising in modern comfort over long distances”.

Exterior design comes from SFG Yacht Design, while the 1360GT interior is courtesy of design studio Fancy by Dada.

The exterior is characterised by “smooth, long-flowing lines and clean shapes” with key exterior features including a seven-metre main-deck swimming pool with a swim-up bar and glass floor, according to SFG Yacht Design.

D67 has plentiful entertaining spaces and boasts a “bubble glass ceiling” in the hardtop. Meanwhile, the touch-and-go helipad is positioned forward of the bridge deck.

The interior design is fully customisable but will revolve around “a handful of distinctive, essential elements and materials.

Accommodation will be for up to 14 guests across seven staterooms, with the master forward of the main deck alongside two VIPs with floor-to-ceiling windows. A further four guest staterooms are situated on the lower deck. Elsewhere, the bridge deck contains a gym, sauna, cinema and bar.

Two luxury tenders, one crew tender and one rescue tender can be comfortably stored in the lower deck beach club.

Power will come courtesy of three Caterpillar 200 eKW C9 DITA engines for a maximum speed in the region of 16 knots.
