French printing specialist S.G.S is celebrating its 30th anniversary this November, since it begun trading on 2nd November 1989.
30 years ago, founders of family-run business S.G.S, Mr. and Mrs. Juif opened up a small print shop in Antibes, France where it offered typing and printing services to aspiring yacht crew, specialising in CVs for crew looking to work on the growing number of yachts arriving in Port Vauban.
S.G.S took advantage of the Cote d’Azur’s very first digital colour printing machine, selling its restaurant in order to purchase the copier. Following this, the printing specialist became very popular with yacht brokers, real estate agents and restaurants in particular, as it produced colour brochures and menus.
In 1990, son Bertrand entered the company and quickly understood the need to expand S.G.S’ products and services, now specialising in yacht fire and safety signs, printed yacht stationery, brochures and promotional items.
S.G.S is set to develop its product range further in 2020.
