Significant growth for Oculus Technologies with several key appointments

Dutch infographic software creators, Oculus Technologies has announced several key appointments to help them to grow and strengthen the business. The expansion to the team forms part of the company’s continuing development, which has seen a sharp rise in their sales over the last 12-months.

The new additions - seen across management, sales, product development and service teams - will not only support existing and future projects, but also play a strategic role in the preparations ahead of an upgraded, updated and new YachtEyeTM, which will be launched later this year. In addition, they form part of the expansion to new market areas, such as the cruise line industry with the launch of their new product VXcruise; a modified version of Oculus Technologies’ best selling infotainment solution, YachtEyeTM for the cruise market.

Tako Werts has been appointed as commercial manager, cruise line sector, with his key responsibilities involving research and the establishment of new market opportunities for the company’s latest infotainment solution, VXcruise.

Nigel Sherlock joins the team as a sales agent, his responsibilities include the monitoring of the market, the generation of commercial interest and business development opportunities.

Reflecting the company’s continued investment in product development, a further two new appointments have been made; German born Andreas Knoblauch takes on the role of developer and service engineer, supporting the team across product development, testing and service with his experience in all aspects of product development. The final appointment is Tom Hooijenga, who joins the team as a developer.
