The 2017 Singapore Yacht Show is set to welcome its largest superyacht to date, with a record number of Asian debuts and social events lined up for the four-day event, which kicks off next week.
Taking place from 6th to 9th April, SYS shared that some of the world’s most prestigious yachts will be docked at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, with SilverYachts’ Silver Fast the largest to be displayed this year.
Thousands of leisure marine lifestyle enthusiasts and potential buyers will attend what will be the biggest display of boats, yachts and superyachts in Asia, with Boat Lagoon Yachting displaying the largest line-up, with a total of 13 boats.
Alongside SilverYachts there will be a number of prestigious international yacht builders exhibiting, including Amels, Baglietto, Benetti, Echo Yachts, Feadship, Fincantieri, Heesen, Lurssen, Sanlorenzo, Sunseeker and Westport.
There will also be a range of local ‘boating industry players’ at the event, such as Azimut Singapore, Boat Lagoon Yachting, Hong Seh Marine, SG Boating, Simpson Marine.
Superyacht toys and accessories will be represented by new and returning exhibitors, including FunAir, U-Boat Worx and Marine Commerce, who will be showcasing its new underwater drone. There will be on-water demonstrations, and opportunity for visitors to trial the latest in-water toys for themselves.
Organisers have announced a ‘jam-packed social programme’, with a number of parties taking place on board yachts, and on exhibitor on-water hospitality lounges.
The Annual Asia Boating Awards, as well as a series of supercar parades and fashion shows, will provide entertainment, while the SYS and Yisin Chinese Regal Night will be a highlight for visitors from China.
