Superyacht charity cycle ride returns for second year

The superyacht charity cycle ride Cogs4cancer will be back for a second year running this year, with dates already announced for 4^th – 10^th October 2014. Cogs4cancer has also now announced this year’s sponsorship opportunities.

The cycle ride, which took place from Antibes to Palma de Mallorca last year, will this year start from Ancona in Italy and end in Antibes, France. The ride will cover over 850km in just six days, and will again aim to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK and a local cancer charity.

The total amount raised for Cancer Research UK last year was €114,000. Cogs4cancer is ranked within the top one percent of all fundraisers on the Just Giving charity fundraising website. Cancer Research UK commented “the amount raised in such a short time was unprecedented.”

A range of sponsorship opportunities have been announced, including stage sponsorship, website sponsorship, corporate sponsors and more. It is also possible to sponsor one of the Cogs4cancer riders – which is the highest profile sponsorship package.
