Svalbardi to present ‘the only sustainable polar iceberg drinking water’ at Sunseeker event

Luxury water company Svalbardi has announced that it will present its Polar Iceberg Water, a drinking water gathered from melting icebergs in the Arctic Circle, to guests at Sunseeker’s VIP cocktail party on 12th April. The event is to be held quayside at Port Camille Rayon for members of the Vivanova networking club.

The luxury product was first presented to the Moneqasque market at a private Boucheron event, and has since piqued interest in the yachting industry, according to Svalbardi. The product has already won the Platinum award for packaging design in 2016, at the Pentawards.

Svalbardi has stated that the water comes from icebergs that would otherwise melt into the ocean, and a percentage of every sale is donated to the Svalbard Global Seed Bank – an organisation which works to preserve food crops from the damages wrought by global warming.

The upcoming Sunseeker event will only serve Svalbardi’s Polar Iceberg Water, along with fine wines from the Wine Palace Monte Carlo. The private networking event will also showcase blazers from 209 Mare, and a selection of new and used yachts from Sunseeker.

Jamal Qureshi, founder of Svalbardi, commented on the upcoming event, “We’re extremely excited to share Svalbardi Polar Iceberg Water with the international yachting community, among many other discerning tastes.”

“Given that the water is sustainably gathered from carefully selected icebergs in the waters off Svalbard, the product shares a natural affinity with the ocean and yachting. We take great pride in serving a quality fine drinking water into glasses [belonging to those] that are used to the best, evoking the taste of snow in air.”

Svalbardi recently confirmed that their products will be distributed in Monaco by the gourmet provisioning company, Maison del Gusto. A 750ml bottle costs approximately £60.
