Tankoa Yachts reveals sporty 58m concept

Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts has revealed a new 58m superyacht concept, said to be the yard’s fastest build to date.

Collaborating with Francesco Paszkowski, the Tankoa 58 Open is one of a number of superyacht projects on-going at Tankoa, said to combine sporty performance with luxury cruising.

Constructed from lightweight aluminium with a streamlined profile, the 58 Open will be able to reach a top speed of 30 knots when out on the open water, powered by three 2683hp MTU engines, two Kamewa water jets and a central booster.

Tankoa Yachts commented in a statement, “From now on, luxury cruising doesn’t mean giving up the excitement of running fast and loose. With this cutting edge megayacht you can have it all.”

While details of accommodation availability have yet to be revealed, standout exterior features on board the 58 Open include two large aft decks and an open sundeck with central bar and al fresco dining area, seating up to ten people. There is also shaded seating located on the foredeck of the vessel and a pop-up hardtop. Tankoa also revealed that a gyroscopic stabilisation system would be installed, to enable greater on-board comfort.
