Tecnocean Balear celebrates success in 2015

Palma-based marine engineering company, Tecnocean Balear has announced the on-going success of its recently updated website, which was redesigned earlier this year in order to offer a better user experience.

Speaking exclusively to Yachting Pages, Javier Vives at Tecnocean said, “2015 has been a very busy and exciting year for us. We kicked off by revamping our business website, which was 10 years old, never finished and very unfriendly for Internet search engines.

“With the new design, we wanted to reorganise all of the information about the products and services that we provide, and the brands we supply or repair, under a simple aesthetically pleasant and accessible design. Thus, our customers can quickly find out what we do and how we can help them.

“The site went live in early March, and was very quickly picked up by many search engine crawlers. Our clients can now find us straight away on the first page of many search results. The increasing number of requests that we are getting through the contact page also clearly shows how we have now left the dark ages.”

Throughout the remaining months of 2015, Tecnocean also reported a busy summer season, with emergency repairs and quick fixes carried out aboard private and charter yachts. Tecnocean has shared that the superyacht fleet has now made its way to the STP shipyard in Palma, nearby to their premises in Santa Catalina, for the winter refit period.

Javier shared the details of Tecnocean’s current projects. He said, “We are currently refitting an Opacmare passerelle on M/Y Super Tatico, a Besonzoni crane and passerelle on M/Y Lidia, and chiller equipment aboard M/Y Nirvana. Furthermore, we are carrying out annual air conditioning servicing on board our main clients’ yachts.

“Finally, we have started to give technical support to Ventura Yachts, the official ‘Ferretti Group’ distributor for the UK and Spain, with prestigious brands like Ferretti, Pershing and Riva. Both Tecnocean and Ventura Yachts are very pleased with the work generated here so far.”
