The Balearic Islands marine industry launches digital yacht show

From the 18th – 20th November 2020, the very first virtual yacht show of the Balearic Islands is being launched. The show will be fully online, and featuring both yacht and company exhibitors, digital meetings, conferences, workshops and 360º tours.

This ambitious online project will be presented by The Mallorca Chamber of Commerce and Balearic Marine Cluster with support from various associations within the marine sector.

The virtual show will be a unique opportunity to digitalise the nautical companies in the Balearics and also gives the opportunity to reach a wider international audience.

The show connects the Balearic Islands with the rest of the world, where participants can make appointments to meet exhibitors.

In online space will allow visitors to enjoy the essence of Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera. The Balearic Yacht Show is positioned as the largest professional boat show in the Mediterranean on the internet.

Due to the event being online, the costs are reduced as well as travel time. This will allow for companies to have their stand and schedule completely tailored to them, where they can customise and add extra communication and marketing services.

The latest trends in technology will be featured allowing exhibitors to provide virtual boat tours using 360º tours, 3D plans or virtual assistants.

The show will be hosted on an online platform which will be available 365 days a year. The organisers didn’t think it should be restricted to a three-day event, but a space where relevant news and updates from the nautical industry could be shared throughout the year.
