Taking place during the Monaco Yacht Show and organised by the team behind the highly acclaimed Top Marques supercar show, Top Marques Watches & Jewellery is the Principality’s only exhibition dedicated to haute horlogerie and jewellery.
The exhibition will return to the historical Salle Belle Époque within Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo from 28th to 30th September 2017 and according to organisers follows the same “winning formula” as the supercar show, where all luxury items on display are for sale.
Open to the public free of charge, it gives watch connoisseurs, sybarites or simply the inquisitive a rare opportunity to see collections from some of the world’s most exclusive watch and jewellery brands up close.
Highlights this year include watchmaker Geubel Forsey, with its highly complicated timepieces with a price tag of more than €1million, and Maison DeWitt, a Swiss watchmaker who recently made waves at the Hong Kong Watch Fair with its diamond-encrusted Academia Collection. Franck Muller, this year celebrating its 25th anniversary, will also be present at the exhibition as well as Hesjy, one of the newest stars in the world of watch-making, founded earlier this year in Switzerland.
Meanwhile the world of jewellery will be represented by some of its most creative and elegant contributors, such as designers Elena Silvodaeva, Jasre, and HRH Jewels, all from Monaco, as well as Sandra Biloé Joaillerie Monte-Carlo, a new brand created in 2017 by French/Brazilian contemporary artist Sandra Biloé. The Monegasque jewellers will be joined by V.A.K Fine Jewels, bespoke designers based in the Indian city of Mumbai.
Manoj Bairstow, managing director of Top Marques Monaco said, “We are really excited about this third edition of our watch and jewellery show, to which we hope many visitors will come to admire the wonderful brands in the beautiful setting of La Salle Belle Epoque.
“We are hugely grateful to our partners La Societe des Bains de Mer, Monaco’s Direction du Tourisme et des Congres, Monegasque real estate Marzocco and Villa Sandi for their help and support in bringing this fantastic show to the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.”
An invitation-only cocktail party will be held in the historic venue on the evening of 28th September, where guests will get the opportunity to participate in a fund-raising auction for Monaco Disease Power. The Monegasque association under the honorary presidency of S.A.S. Prince Albert II supports the families of children with physical disabilities or mental illness. All proceeds of the auction will go towards the creation of a respite house for families in the Alpes de Haute Provence.
Press are invited to attend a special Happy Hour in the Salle Belle Epoque on Friday 29th September from 6:00pm to 7.30pm, where they can meet the designers and innovators behind some of the world’s most famous brands. If you would like to attend, please confirm your presence to Suzanna Chambers.
Opening hours for the show are as follows: 1:00pm - 8:00pm on Thursday 28th September, 10:00am to 8:00pm on Friday 30th September, and 10:00am to 7.30pm on Saturday 1st October.
