Torqeedo, a leading UK electric outboard manufacturer, has released the Ultralight 403 outboard motor, in time for Father's Day.
The compact Ultralight 403 is easy to use and mount, and is highly portable, making paddling against the current and wind simple. When it isn’t needed, users can tilt it out of the water and paddle as usual.
John Arnold, UK sales manager of Torqeedo said, “The Ultralight 403 has proven to be highly popular amongst UK kayakers. Feedback from customers tells us the capsize protection safety measure is highly welcomed - it stops the motor automatically in case of a capsize incident. Similarly the GPS onboard control display is a particularly well-liked feature. It gives users a host of useful information, such as speed over ground, battery charge status and - most importantly - remaining range so no more guessing how much reserve is left.”
Weighing in at just over seven kilos, including the battery, with a capacity delivering up to 35km in range and reaching 10km/h when the throttle is opened, the Ultralight 403 offers a better efficiency, as well as being exceptionally quiet – allowing the landscape to be enjoyed undisturbed.
