Florida-based marine shade manufacturer, TUUCI has revealed plans to invest 1.25 million US dollars to expand its Miami manufacturing facility in a bid to keep up with the demand for its outdoor and marine parasols, pavilions and lounges.
Servicing the luxury yachting sector for 17 years from its location in Miami, Florida, the expansion will see the company expand into a 100,000-foot facility, with plans to create an additional 21 jobs in the state.
Tom Parker, president of TUUCI said, “Building quality, marine-engineered shade structures right here in South Florida has been our mission since 1998. The shores of Miami inspired the birth of TUCCI, so it’s only fitting to be expanding what we started in this city.”
Dougan Clarke, CEO and chief product architect at TUUCI added, “While we considered relocating to North Carolina, the company’s roots in Miami ran too deep. It was the breathtaking shores of South Florida that inspired us to create the world’s best shade systems. The opportunity to expand the operation and add jobs to the community was exactly the right incentive to continue what we started here in Miami.”
