Two yachts launched in one day for Sanlorenzo

Italian shipbuilder Sanlorenzo has followed the January launch of its 52m yacht Seven Sins with the launch of two new motoryachts from its fibreglass range.

Stae, a 26.76m SL86 was launched in Ameglia, the production site responsible for Sanlorenzo’s 24m to 28m fibreglass yachts, in the presence of her American owner and his family. 

On the same day, the 29.10m SL96 named B&B was launched for a Turkish owner from the builder’s Viareggio facility, where larger 29m to 38m fibreglass yachts are built.

According to their owners, both motoryachts are to be outfitted ahead of the Mediterranean season.

Massimo Perotti, CEO of Sanlorenzo said of the recent launches, “We’re always happy to celebrate this moment with our international customers. It’s the last step in a journey we make together from the very first layout design.

“2017 started with the debut of our 52m steel superyacht and the launches haven’t stopped since then: We recently celebrated three launches in one week, now two on the same day, and more are planned for the Spring.”

With three production sites within a 50km radius, Sanlorenzo is currently also readying Seven Sins for delivery from its La Spezia facility.

Other production at the La Spezia site includes four explorer yachts in the 460Exp range, and the 11th hull in the 40Alloy series.
