V For Explorer Luxury Yachts – a new division of Turkish charter firm V For Blue Exclusive Yacht Charter Company – has confirmed that it has begun work on its first ever superyacht, the 30-metre (98-foot) Victorious.
In July it was revealed that the vessel’s keel had been laid, and now the Istanbul-based yard has revealed that work on the “explorer-style” motor yacht is underway, with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure scheduled for fabrication.
Victorious, which has been designed with long-range voyages in mind, features interiors and exteriors from V For Explorer and a “massive interior volume” when compared to the LOA.
Custom interiors aboard Victorious will include exclusive marbles and woods hand-picked by the owner, with complementary décor. The oversized saloon windows offer guests panoramic views, with high ceilings, bright spaces and expansive floor plans all combining for an impressive sense of size.
Six staterooms, including a VIP cabin and an owner’s suite, will provide accommodation for up to 12 guests. Three crew cabins allow for a staff of five.
Victorious will be powered by a pair of D2676 diesel engines for a top speed of 14 knots. At 10 knots she will boast a Transatlantic range of up to 5,000 nautical miles. Victorious is set for delivery in September 2019.
