Van der Valk unveils unique BeachClub 600 yacht

Van der Valk is set to start construction on an innovative new series of luxury motor yachts next month, featuring unique transparent transom door and bathing platform technology.

The first model of the BeachClub series, the BeachClub 600, is due for launch in 2017. Measuring in at 61ft or 18.6m LOA, she showcases a completely unique and unusually spacious design for a yacht of her size, from the boards of the Cor D. Rover Design Studio and Ginton Naval Architects.

Her design is in fact patent protected, with IPS950 motorised units installed in her bathing platform allowing for three spacious outdoor living spaces, and access to a water-level lounge on the lower deck via a triple set of curved glass sliding doors. Despite the addition of these motors, her engine room, unusually positioned below the platform, still also offers an impressive head-height of 5ft 2in or 1.6m, according to the Dutch yard.

She also offers a flat foredeck covering 25sqm, and various layout options for her new owner, including a split wet-bar with a sink and griddle or a hot tub.

The raised cockpit provides her skipper with both an outdoor driving position, as well as additional driving position in the sky lounge in front, which can be sheltered by a sliding roof.

Below deck, she has three cabins and two bathrooms forward on the lower deck, as well as a spacious master en-suite in the bow.

Van der Valk states that the BeachClub 600 can reach a top speed of 24knots with her 725hp engines.
