Viking Recruitment opens new Florida office

Viking Recruitment UK has officially launched its new branch in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The new office, which is located at 1845 Cordova Road, Suite 206, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, opened on Monday 18^th June within the Harbour Shops area. There will be a special launch event to mark Viking’s new opening, with details to be announced in due course.

Katie Thornton, senior yacht recruitment consultant, and Louise Hunter, senior crew and operations coordinator, will be travelling to the new office and working alongside director of operations Sue Price for the next six weeks to assist and meet new and existing clients. Viking’s chairman and founder Dieter Jaenicke will be visiting the branch between 4^th and 11^th July.

Viking works with seasoned crewmembers and yachting newcomers alike to help them develop and hone their skills and get a new placement in the industry. Its bespoke maritime services can include crew placements, crew deployments, crew management, STCW safety training (from the Maritime Skills Academy) and Cadet Officer Trainees (Chiltern Maritime).
