Guernsey-based yacht-crew management company Voyonic Crewing Ltd has continued its expansion with the large yacht sector with the recruitment of Niall Rhys Evans, who joins the business as yacht development officer.
An experienced industry professional, Rhys Evans will be responsible for crew compliance, MLC (Maritime Labour Convention) and other areas related to the yachting sector. He will also provide support to the HR and payroll teams, and the wider marine business of Voyonic.
Rhys Evans has an established career within yachting, undertaking the role of captain of large sailing vessels and motor vessels in various parts of the world. He then moved into building and managing marinas, before progressing into the corporate side of the industry – specifically managing superyachts for the past 10 years.
The new recruit commences his role imminently.
