Warsash Superyacht Academy announces partnership with Elite Crew

Warsash Superyacht Academy (WSA) has recently announced a new partnership agreement with Elite Crew International. The agreement complements WSA’s distinctive group of established business partners offering a range of services in support of the superyacht sector.

Established in 1998, Elite Crew International provides professional crew placement services to the megayacht community, and was the first yachting agency to be MLC 2006 certified in early 2012.

Their head office is strategically located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and with the opening of a new office in Barcelona planned for early 2014; the company are building an international presence in the industry.

Karina Roholte Befeld, founder and senior crew agent of Elite Crew International said, “We are delighted the Academy recognises our professional approach to crew placement and chose us to become their business services partner. Since we cater to the larger mega yachts, we can see the benefits that our captains and officers will gain from the training offered at WSA. We are looking forward to building a working relationship that will benefit both parties, and ultimately our clients, captains and crew.”

Lars Lippuner, business development manager for WSA said, “Elite Crew’s team consists of highly experienced individuals, with a solid history and reputation of delivering first-class crew recruitment. Internationally renowned throughout Europe, North America, the Caribbean, Pacific and the rest of the world, their ethos ‘leaders in the field’ resonates with our own values.”
