Weaver Boat Works delivers 30m flagship yacht

American shipyard Weaver Boat Works, which specialises in sportsfish yachts, has delivered its 29.56-metre (97-foot) flagship yacht 18 Reeler, following its technical launch in October last year.

Designed by Donald L. Blount, the motor yacht features an enclosed bridge. Since being delivered in December the vessel has already explored The Keys, Wrightsville Beach and is now on its way to the Bahamas.

A maximum draught of 1.9 metres will enable 18 Reeler to manoeuvre into shallow cruising grounds which other yachts of her size cannot. This will be ideal for visiting her surrounding areas, such as the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

18 Reeler will be powered by two 2,600hp MTU 16V2000 diesel engines, propelling her to a top speed of 40 knots.

The interior of the sportsfish yacht presents a luxurious yet simple set of six guestrooms, accommodating up to 12 guests with room for three crew members.

The sizable aft cockpit provides a central staircase leading into the saloon, with vast storage space for live bait wells and fishing rods on each side.
