Windward VIP Club returns to FLIBS 2017

Informa Exhibitions has announced that the Windward VIP Club will once again return to the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) to ehance passholders' visits to the show, which take place in Florida between 1st and 5th November.

Sponsored by Yachting Pages Media Group, Audi, Budweiser, LeCroix, RAM, Smallwood's Yachtwear, TAITRA/Taiwan Excellence and Ulysse Nardin, FLIBS is the largest in-water boat show in the world, attracting a world-wide audience of approximately 100,000 boating enthusiasts to see the latest offerings from the global boating industry and to do business in the ‘Yachting Capital of the World’.

In a recent statement, organisers said, “In an industry that takes personalised service and luxury to extraordinary heights, the show offers guests the option to further enhance their visit with the Windward VIP Club.

“Located at the show's Hall of Fame Marina location, adjacent to many of the show's largest yachts and an impressive display of exotic automobiles, the private club will provide guests with exquisite food and specialty drinks in an artfully-designed, air-conditioned space with comfortable seating.”

One of the Windward VIP Club's most attractive benefits is the dedicated concierge team, Delmay and Partners, who work on behalf of VIP passholders to arrange various services, including yacht tours, local dining reservations, private transportation and more.

Windward VIP Club passes are $225 per day, per person through the show's online ticketing system, and include entrance to the show, water-taxi service and the option to access the Ulysses Nardin lounge at the Bahia Mar's Captains Quarters. Valet parking is also available at the show's Las Olas Marina location for $70 per day, and can also be purchased in advance online.

Informa Exhibitions’ vice president and general manager, Andrew Doole said “We have added new features to the Windward VIP experience this year that will allow our VIP passholders to better experience the show.

“Nothing can beat coming to the show by water, visiting yachts by personal appointment, taking a break in the beautiful Windward VIP Club while enjoying a bite to eat, and having a dedicated concierge team at your fingertips."

Sponsored by Bank of America, Florida Luxurious Properties, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, Gulfstream Yachts, and Luxury Law Group, the Windward VIP Club will be open to passholders from noon to 07:00pm on 1st November, from 10:00am to 07:00pm 2nd to 4th November, and from 10:00 to 06:00pm on 5th November.

The 58th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will once span seven locations, with almost 1,500 boats displayed across more than three-million square feet of exhibit space. The show draws approximately 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries to display an amazing array of boats, marine products and accessories, from superyachts to fishing boats for every budget, and fishing gear to marine art, jewellery - all valued at more than four-billion US dollars.
