World debut for Pearl 75

Pearl Motor Yachts, one of the UK’s leading luxury yacht builders is to launch the new Pearl 75 at this year’s Southampton Boat Show, 14th to 23rd September 2012, alongside interior designer, Kelly Hoppen MBE.

In a special collaboration with award-winning designers, Kelly Hoppen MBE and renowned yacht designer, Bill Dixon, the Pearl 75 offers a sophisticated and modern style with a neutral colour scheme.

The vessel is the largest of the Pearl fleet. Created by the studios of Dixon Yacht Design, it offers owners four luxuriously appointed staterooms, a spacious ‘lounge style’ saloon and an open-plan galley and dining area flooded with light from the conservatory style glass roof.

Externally a Jet Ski garage and a hydraulic bathing platform mean owners can carry a jet ski and tender without the need to take up valuable flybridge space. The Pearl 75 also boasts the ZF series 4000 pod-drive propulsion system incorporating joystick control technology.  This offers the owner joystick manoeuvrability and the option of operating the yacht without crew if preferred.

Commenting ahead of the launch Kelly enthused, “My aim with this exciting project was to instil a feeling of sanctuary in the Pearl 75, so it was perfect to use my East meets West philosophy. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Pearl 75 team and I’m thrilled with the results. I’m really looking forward to unveiling the Pearl 75 at the Southampton Boat Show.”

Iain Smallridge, managing director of Pearl Motor Yachts commented,  “The response to the imminent launch of the Pearl 75 has been very encouraging and there is a great deal of anticipation surrounding its debut appearance. With its gracious exterior lines, luxurious interior style and technological innovations, we are extremely proud to be able to launch a vessel that really is ground-breaking.

“Our partnership with highly regarded professionals, Bill Dixon and Kelly Hoppen MBE, has not only redefined Pearl’s position at the forefront of innovative yacht design, but thanks to their individual expertise, it has also provided our customers with something that is totally unique to the market.”

Powered by twin MTU 1250 HPs engines, the Pearl 75 is expected to navigate comfortably at a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed of 30 knots.
