AES Yacht launches 71-metre superyacht Victoria

Turkish yard AES Yacht has confirmed the launch of its 71-metre (232-foot) superyacht Victoria.

Originally known as Project Agat, construction on the project began more than 10 years ago, with her keel laid on 30th May 2006 at Sevmash shipyard, Russia. The build was then put on hold until 2015, before the yacht moved to AES Yacht’s shipyard for completion works.

Built from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Victoria boasts interior and exterior design from H2 Yacht Design ,as well as Gresham Yacht Design at certain stages throughout the project. Agat Design Bureau, is responsible for her naval architecture. 

Accommodation on board is for 14 guests split across seven cabins, while the crew quarters can house up to 16 staff across nine cabins. 

Powered by twin 3,111hp MTU diesel engines, Victoria has a top speed of 18 knots and a range of 7,000 nautical miles at her economical speed of 12 knots.

She will undergo sea trials in the coming weeks ahead of her scheduled delivery in July 2018.
