Ferretti launches fourth Custom Line Navetta 33

Italian yard Ferretti Group has launched its fourth Custom Line Navetta 33 motor yacht, less than a year since the new model first debuted.

The 33-metre (108-foot) vessel was launched in Ancona and is the second superyacht in Ferretti’s Custom Line semi-displacement series, following on from the Navetta 37.

The first Navetta 33 model, named Telli, was built for yard CEO Alberto Galassi and was showcased for the first time in mid-2017. The Navetta series has been a success for the yard, with a 10th hull currently under construction and nine owners already in place.

The Custom Line Navetta 33 is a collaboration between the product strategy committee led by Pier Ferrari, Studio Zuccon International Project – who designed the interiors and exteriors – and the yard’s in-house engineering office, which implemented the naval architecture.

Navetta 33 boasts both volume and comfort courtesy of a wide-body superstructure and high-tech systems, designed to give guests as much freedom on board as possible.

The master suite encompasses the full beam on the main deck, while the four guest cabins on the lower deck are also notably large.

Interiors on the latest Navetta 33 are styled in darker colours and Alip Lignum veneers, with an array of luxury interior brands implemented throughout.

Among her standout features is the hull design, which is the result of extensive R&D and CFD testing. The semi-planing hull is aimed at owners looking for a yacht that falls somewhere between planing and displacement, and is designed to be highly efficient.

She has a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, while stabilisation is supplemented by Seakeeper ABT TRAC (underway and zero-speed) stabilisers.

The Custom Line Navetta 33 Telli won the World Superyacht Award for Semi-Displacement or Planing Three Deck Motor Yachts last month.
