Tankoa Yachts has launched its first S501 yacht, 49.9m Vertige.
With interior and exterior styling by Francesco Paszkowski, she was launched in Italy on 22nd February, having been sold to a French client back in February 2015. She is now scheduled for delivery this April.
The brief for the S501 series was inspired by the client's requests and owner’s representative Albert McIlroy commented, “With S501, the shipyard has greatly improved their time schedule management and operation processes. They truly have a Teutonic approach that often leaves me speechless for an Italian builder.”
Vertige features a lightweight displacement hull using light aluminium alloy. Her hull design was created by Massimo Visibelli, and she features a modified plumb bow. She features a variety of outdoor spaces, including fold-out balconies in the master stateroom, floor-to-ceiling windows, and three outdoor dining areas.
She also features a teak-finished tender garage, able to host a seven-metre RIB; the garage then converts to a beach club, via the transom door. Other notable features include a gym and on-board cinema.
Vertige has accommodation for up to 12 guests on board, with full-beam owner and master suites located on the main deck, and four guest cabins on the lower deck.
She is powered by two MTU engines, able to reach an estimated top speed of 16 knots, and cruising range of 5,000nm at 12 knots.
