Gill Launch their New Highest Protection Ocean Racer Gear

The new Gill Ocean Racer range has been tested for the equivalent of 10 times around the world to ensure it provides the best protection of any gear they have ever made. This research and development project has consisted of a three year consultation and testing period with serious sailors across the world’s oceans. The ocean gear has been put through its paces and undergone over 215,000 nautical miles of on the water testing before making it to the market.
This hi-spec range features everything you would expect, and more. Key features include next generation SuperFabric® protection zones, to the seat, knee and elbow areas, to protect against wear and tear from the toughest of surfaces. SuperFabric® is also used on motorcyclist gear, so is designed to offer maximum protection.
The Gill 5Dot™ waterproof and breathable 3-layer fabric is used to ensure maximum comfort and protection against the elements. Cuffs feature a retractable adjuster and PU inner seals offer watertight comfort. The smock also features a soft-touch latex neck, with improved stretch. All zips are water-resistant. A high collar with a thermal fleece lining, wrap around face guard, and fold down face flap, offers protection and warmth from the worst conditions. Additional features include: an Active-fit rollaway hood with 2-way volume adjustment, fleece lined handwarmer pockets, adjustable shock cord hem, and Solas approved 360˚prismatic reflectors.
The Ocean Trousers use the 5Dot™ waterproof and breathable 3-layer fabric with SuperFabric® protection zones. Additional features include a super stretch back panel for comfort and inner thigh grip panels for bowsprit and mast work. Pockets are designed for ease of access.
