Gulf Craft delivers 41m Lulwa

Emirati shipyard Gulf Craft has delivered the 41-metre yacht of its Majesty 135 series to a repeat client, who has christened her Lulwa. Given a public debut at the Dubai International Boat Show 2017, the 350GT all-GRP yacht is the seventh hull in the series to be sold.

A key characteristic of the model is its incorporation of “smart home” technology, enabling those on board to remotely control the audio-visual entertainment system, lighting and dining facilities via an application on their smartphone.

The key amenities in exterior areas include a curved wet bar, Jacuzzi and a Williams Dieseljet 505 tender stored on a spacious sundeck. Accommodation is for up to 14 guests across six staterooms, which include premium-marbled en-suite bathrooms.

Powered by twin MTU 2,600hp engines, Lulwa can achieve a top speed of 16 knots and a range of 3,310nm at the economical speed of 12 knots. She comes fully equipped with Zero Speed stabilisation, fuel purification and integrated control and monitoring systems.

Other projects currently under development at the UAE-based yard include the 53.34-metre Majesty 175 and the 31.68-metre Majesty 100 series of skylounge yachts.
