Heesen Yachts delivers 51m full custom superyacht

Dutch shipyard, Heesen Yachts has announced the delivery of a 51m full-custom superyacht, named MySky. 

The superyacht was actually delivered to her new owners on 28^th November 2014 after intensive sea trials in the North Sea. 

MySky is a full 51m displacement long-range motor yacht of approximately 600GT. She can achieve a range of 5,400 nautical miles at 10 knots. With a bold yet sleek interior, and flush-mounted tinted windows thermo-bonded to the superstructure, the vessel has a highly distinctive look.

The new owners appointed Erick van Egeraat to design the ultra-contemporary, sharp and sophisticated interior, which combines crisp white leather with dark high-gloss Makassar wood. She also has a patterned backlit white onyx inlaid within a black marble base, which contributes to the monochrome theme. This motif is used throughout the design to create a highly stylised and luxury ambiance. 

MySky accommodates 12 guests across five luxurious cabins with the full-beam master suite located traditionally on the main deck. The master cabin has a large, elaborate bathroom with natural stone-clad steam shower and a spacious walk-in closet.  The remaining four cabins are located on the lower deck and are furnished to the highest specification.

To meet the owner’s requirements for quality time for sports, physical training and recreation, the custom superyacht boasts a fully-equipped gymnasium on the sundeck.

There is a touch-and-go helipad forward of the bridge which can transform into another large sun terrace when required, providing secluded lounging even when the yacht is in dock.
