Horizon Yachts has recently reported the sale and delivery of a Horizon E88 open bridge motoryacht to ‘seasoned new owners’ in Florida.
Named Christine, this Horizon E88 was the first open bridge motoryacht built and also features the new beach club design, with a stern hydraulic garage door and swim platform for watersports and outdoor leisure.
According to a release by Horizon, the “proud” new owners knew the Horizon E88 was the yacht for them after first viewing her, with Horizon claiming “she fit the bill for everything on their list.” This includes the four en-suite staterooms plus separate crew quarters aft, a formal dining kitchen layout, and numerous al fresco entertaining areas between the open flybridge, forward bow dinette and sunpads, and a large aft deck with a wet bar.
With the owners having planned to cruise the east coast, the Horizon E88’s twin CAT C32 1800HP engines, zero speed stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters, and numerous other amenities were of “great value to comfortably operating and cruising their new motoryacht.”
Horizon also revealed that Christine is currently cruising in the Chesapeake for the remainder of the summer and autumn, and that the owners plan to head back south and spend time in Ocean Reef this winter.
