Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
Adrian and Lee from Inter-Nett, a leading superyacht cleaning company, are planning a charity cycle ride from Antibes to Palma in aid of Cancer Research UK. They, along with six others who include: John Clark, Robbie Maguire, Ben Young of Sunseeker and Steve Crowe of Yachting Pages, are planning to set off on the 5th October.
They will travel 800km in five days and the aim is to arrive in time for the Pinmar Golf Tournament, a big yachting event and itself a successful charity fundraiser.
There is also a gala dinner planned on the 20th September at La Jarrerie in Bar-sur-Loup with a celebrity chef (TBC), and an auction of sporting memorabilia from top football and rugby clubs, before the ride, to raise extra funds.
It has recently been confirmed that the sponsorship of Adrian’s bike will be from HSH Prince Albert. There are a number of sponsorship options:
Bike sponsors will get a prominent mention and a company logo with a link to their website on the Inter-Nett site, as well as a mention on Facebook and JustGiving.
Other sponsors will get a mention and logo on the sponsor’s page on their website. Personal donations allow you to leave a message on JustGiving.
They are planning to promote the ride as much as possible with various PR activities and currently have their company Tees and vans branded with the C4C logo.
