JFA Yachts launches the first Long Island 85’

French superyacht shipyard, JFA Yachts has launched their first Long Island 85’ semi custom catamaran. Designed by naval architect Marc Lombard from La Rochelle, the Long Island 85’ is the first yacht of this new Long Island semi custom range.

The yachts’ hulls are built in aluminium, whereas the superstructures are made in composite materials and assembled using bolts and glue.

This Long Island 85’ catamaran offers a ground breaking arrangement for this size of vessel. The master cabin is situated on fore wet deck and boasts a panoramic view and direct access to the fore net. Aft, the Salon features a 360° view, helm station, dining area and bar.

Starboard hull is fitted with a guest cabin, an owner’s office and the master bathroom.

The portside hull houses the second guest cabin, galley, crew mess and two crew cabins.

The Long Island 85’ is equipped with 2x 380Hp Yanmar engines and 2x 27kW gensets.
