The Five-Gold Anchor Karpaz Gate Marina in North Cyprus has announced a free ‘Special-Care Package’ for 2016, to provide boat owners with the perfect winter base for their boat.
According to the marina, the care package is ideal for captains and owners who are hoping to leave their boats unattended during the winter months. The new premium care service will include regular testing of the engine, generator and other equipment aboard, plus ventilation of the cabins, exterior cleaning and checks of the electronics and other systems on board.
In a recent press release, Karpaz Gate also announced further value packages for next year, including free hard-standing during the winter months for smaller yachts, for owners who wish to keep their boats out of the water.
As well as up to 60% discount on berthing rates in 2016, Karpaz Gate Marina is also offering individually-tailored packages, in order to offer boat owners the best rates to suit their yacht and personal requirements.
A ‘Freezing Option’ offers clients freedom within the terms of their contract, allowing owners to suspend their annual contract for up to three months once within the annual contract period to visit another location or spend time cruising without worrying about additional costs.
Deniz Akaltan, harbour master at the facility said, “At Karpaz Gate Marina, we promise to take special care of your yacht and allow you peace of mind knowing your yacht is safe and secure. Our dedicated and professional team will ensure your yacht is treasured in your absence, and ready for you to enjoy when you return.
“Our marina is the perfect winter and summer base, emphasising high quality standards in all professional marine facilities, technical services, food and beverage, leisure and entertainment. Our aim is to provide outstanding service, shelter and security for all our clients.”
Located in a sheltered harbour, the marina caters to superyachts up to 65m LOA, with alongside mooring also available for yachts over 30m, and boasts a wealth of marina facilities on-site, including a 18,000sqm dry dock with 300-ton travel hoist.
