Mallorca-based refit companies unite under new brand identity

A group of eight independent marine businesses offering skills and products to the refit and repair sector, have united under a new name to strengthen and unify their services and offerings to the yachting industry.

The group of businesses will be located under the same roof in the STP Palma shipyard; one of the largest and most advanced refit and repair yards in Europe. The building at the north end of the facility has been titled ‘The North Dock Building’, and is located close to the yard’s 700-ton travel lift and 35,000 sqm of berthing space for yachts under repair.

The directors of the eight specialist service providers – Anicla, De Cabo, Palmawatch, IBS Marine Electric, Undercover Solutions, Trappmann Interiors, Servicious Náuticos Integrados and Munditubo - decided to join together to create a common identity that clearly distinguishes their workplace and its outreach to yacht owners, captains and owner’s representatives.

With specialisms including paint, coatings, antifouling, marine electrics, interiors, covers and upholstery, refit, repair, haul outs and more, and with some of the eight companies having served clients in Mallorca for more than 20 years, their range of skills is suited to serving the industry under the new identity.

The building has been branded so that it can be clearly seen and identified within STP, with four large signs on the roof. The venture has also launched a new website, www.thenorthdock.com, which to links to more information on each company and full contact details.
