METS 2015 reports biggest show in seven years

Organisers of the METS Trade Show have announced that the 2015 show is set to be their biggest show since the financial crisis hit in 2007, seven years ago.

The three-day Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) is set to take place in just under three weeks time. Beginning on Tuesday 17^th November. METS reports that almost 1,400 exhibitors have now confirmed their attendance, and that the average stand size is now almost back to the levels witnessed pre-2007, marking the slow recovery of the industry. 

Furthermore, the Superyacht Pavillion (SYP) is completely sold out with a total of 221 exhibitors scheduled to attend. The Marina & Yard Pavillion has also grown, with 49 exhibitors confirmed. There will also be 18 Country Pavillions, run by national associations within ICOMIA.

Irene Dros, maritime domain manager at RAI Amsterdam said, “In addition to being the world’s largest show in its category, METSTRADE is the only truly international show of its kind. This is an ideal chance to meet global distributors from as far afield as New Zealand, Singapore, the Middle East or Africa, as well as over Europe.
