METS welcomes new maritime product manager

The Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) has announced the appointment of a new maritime production manager this week: Rens-Jan van Vilet.

Having previously worked as a sales manager at METS, Rens-Jan will now predominantly focus on the exhibition itself as part of his new role, as well as on the further development of the Construction Material Pavilion.

Rens-Jan said of his new position, “I am very happy to have the opportunity to get back into the maritime industry. Working within the METSTRADE team has always been a pleasure and this new role will give me the chance to help develop the exhibition further.”

Irene Dros, manager of the METS Maritime domain added, “We are very pleased with welcoming Rens back to the team! He shares our enthusiasm for the show and the industry, which are key basic factors for success and quality.”

METS takes place this year in Amsterdam between 17th and 19th November.

Yachting Pages will be present at the show on Stand 09.508 to talk to marine businesses about their superyacht marketing strategies, and to answer any questions about the Yachting Pages product portfolio.
