Mondo Marine launches OKKO, A 40.8-metre Aluminium Yacht

OKKO features extensive windows with external lines and interior decor by architect, Giorgio Vafiadis.  The interior design concept is contemporary classic, with a spacious feel.  Frakè wood, features extensively in the interior, creating smooth, even colour with each individual sheet selected and positioned to create the best possible grain match.

OKKO’s three decks include a spacious main deck owner’s suite with a well-equipped relaxation area providing comfortable seating and a generous cloakroom. The saloon and dining area are situated to aft where the wide windows offer spectacular views. The lower deck is reserved entirely for guests, with four cabins including two full-beam VIP suites with separate wardrobe areas. Guest accommodation is rounded off by two doubles.

OKKO can sail at over 16 knots, with a range of 3,000 miles at a cruising speed of 14 knots. The absence of vibration, a search for cutting edge soundproofing solutions, reliability and comfort all enhance the quality of life on board, embodying the values and quality of Mondo Marine.

Delivery is scheduled for July.  OKKO will be presented in September at the Monaco Yacht Show, where the official launch of SYOG, The Superyacht Owner’s Guide will also be taking place and Yachting Pages will be exhibiting its latest directory.

Mondo Marine designs, engineers and builds its craft at its Savona construction centre, where five ships are currently under construction, ranging from 41 to 54 metres.  The yard is positioned on the sea front and stretches over 35,000 square metres, 9,500 of which are covered. There are wharves stretching over 100 metres in length to accommodate superyachts.  Facilities include an 820-ton travel lift, one of the largest in the Mediterranean, and a 300-ton cradle.
