Peter Bolke Design unveils owner-inspired 80m-superyacht concept

British design studio Peter Bolke Design has revealed its 80-metre (262-foot) steel and aluminium superyacht concept named Europa.

With high security and privacy at the forefront of the owner’s requirements, the yacht was designed with these specific needs in mind. To match this request the owner’s suite has been kept separate from crew and guest accommodation.

Sitting on the bridge deck, the master suite features its own entrance lobby and sun deck lobby. It can also be accessed via a stairway to a private roof deck, master saloon and onto an open sun deck.

Spanning five decks, there are also two VIP guest suites sitting below the master. This deck also houses the helideck, helicopter landing pad and VIP saloon.

On the main deck, Europa features six more guest suites, a main deck saloon and dining area. Outside she boasts an al fresco dining area, infinity pool and space to sun lounge on the stern.

The lower deck will contain all crew and operational areas, with nine twin cabins forward, the galley, the pantry and the engine room.

The mid-engine room is able to house twin tenders port and starboard, while the beach club sits aft.

Europa’s standout feature is folding hull doors, which join to create a walk-around beach deck platform.

Total accommodation on board Europa is for 24 crewmembers and between 12 to 18 guests. According to Bolke, her cruising speed will sit between 15 and 17 knots.

Despite being designed for the specific requirements of her owner, Europa’s platform is also available for client customisation. Bolke said, “Although the design and current layout was initiated by an interested party, the thought has been to maximise the versatility of the 80 metre platform design to allow modification to suit specific client needs.”

Europa’s unveiling comes after Bolke recently revealed 46-metre anti-radar yacht design, called Stealth. Follow Yachting Pages on Facebook and Twitter to join the conversation.
