British design studio Squared MK has revealed details and renderings of its latest concept, a 45m superyacht called Mania.
According to the design studio, her styling is a combination of different time periods and unique design elements, with exteriors shaped by the GT sportscar and interiors like that of a mansion house.
In a statement, Squared MK said, “The Mania concept targets sporty, yet classy owners who have a dynamic way of living; they like to organise parties on board and entertain families and friends, but they also want to be able to reach the coastline quickly and have a glimpse of dry land.”
Mania has a total interior volume of just under 500GT, giving her accommodation for up to 12 guests and nine crewmembers. Inspired by modern lifestyles, her design and layout aims to create a harmonious flow between interior and exterior spaces.
On board she features a drive-in tender garage, with space for two tenders and a pair of Jet Skis, and a superyacht beach club that can be converted into a salt-water swimming pool on demand. A second swimming pool can be found on the foredeck.
Mania offers a private owner’s deck with foldout terrace, bar area, balcony and Jacuzzi. The VIP cabin also has its own folding terrace.
The sporty vessel is designed with a fast displacement hull, powered by a pair of 1,056hp MTU engines to give a top speed of 20 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots. She will be constructed from steel and aluminium.
