The upcoming International Superyacht Coatings Conference (ISCC) 2014, to be held on 11th to 12th December at the Amsterdam RAI, is set to welcome a range of superyacht industry professionals to exchange information and discuss the latest developments in the field of coatings.
The two-day programme will explore and highlight a range of subjects including: coatings contracting and delivery; inspection and assessments; the demands of legislation; surface preparations and their effects on coating quality , as well as the measurement and maintenance of coatings.
Among the guest speakers will be Olaf Steckstor of OS Maritime, who will be passing on his experience as an owner’s rep and captain, on protective coatings such as ceramic layers on old paint and freshly painted superyachts.
A full timetable of the proceedings can be viewed here, including information on Olaf’s presentation entitled “Technology and appliance of Nano-Technology method”.
The Superyacht Coatings Conference is a prominent business-to-business event organised by Amsterdam RAI in association with ICOMIA and the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss). Specialising in superyacht coating processes and related rules and legislation, ISCC is more than a conference and networking event - delegates will be encouraged to participate and contribute, not merely spectate. This highly interactive event will provide genuine opportunities to influence future decisions surrounding current issues facing the coatings industry.
