Limassol Marina has recently reported a significant number of superyachts visiting the marina, which is located in Limassol on the island of Cyprus. The marina claimed that over 50 of the world’s superyachts have visited the development since its official opening in 2013.
According to Limassol Marina, “Just last week, four of the most prestigious superyachts in the world used the services and facilities at our marina, the only superyacht marina on the island. Second-time visitor, 88.5m M/Y Nirvana, was followed by 99m M/Y Madame Gu, 119m M/Y A and 72.6m M/Y Queen K. These are just a handful of more than 50 superyachts to have visited or signed long-term berthing agreements with Limassol Marina since its official opening.
“Many of these ‘grand’ stays have not only proved to be a great success, they have also turned into repeat visits.”
Christopher Walsh, captain of 67.75m M/Y Archimedes commented, “Arriving after just completing our round the world cruise was the best move we could have made. The entire team was welcoming, professional and enthusiastic.
“They could not have been more friendly, courteous and helpful. Not only are the staff and facilities first rate, but the surrounding area presented a myriad of safe and wonderful opportunities to experience the fine cuisine, history and natural beauty of Cyprus. Limassol Marina is the perfect place to base any yacht. We eagerly look forward to returning.”
Limassol Marina itself has over 600 berths, and can host superyachts up to 110m. It is part of a waterfront development, consisting of 162 luxury apartments and 74 exclusive villas with private berths or direct access to the beach.
